The chemical compound, 4,4'-Sulfonyldiphenol, is characterized by the molecular formula C12H10O4S and a molecular weight of 250.27, with a density of 1.366 g/ml. It contains two hydroxyl groups and one electron-withdrawing sulfonyl group, rendering it more acidic compared to other phenolic substances.

It forms white monoclinic crystals. Insoluble in water, sparingly soluble in cold ethanol.
